The non-profit organization Anffas has chosen to entrust IFABER with redefining its procurement model, with a view to facilitating the provision of support to the activities of each of the bodies under the association.
The non-profit organization Anffas (National Association of Families of People with Intellectual and/or Relational Disorders) is a leading NPO present in Italy since 1958. Working through the "La Rosa Blu" consortium of Anffas-affiliated independent bodies, in order to optimize processes and purchases, the organization has chosen to entrust IFABER with redefining its procurement model, with a view to facilitating the provision of support to the activities of each of the bodies under the association.
The activities implemented by IFABER, designed to identify new opportunities for development within purchasing, will allow for the redefinition of the spending model through an analysis of current practices and an assessment of the potential scope for optimizing the processes and costs linked to the supply of goods and services.
Anffas, which operates in Italy through 172 member associations, 16 regional entities and 49 Anffas-affiliated independent bodies, boasts more than 1,000 facilities providing services and direct support to more than 30,000 people with intellectual and/or relational disabilities and to their parents and families. The organization has entrusted the task of the management of procurement services to IFABER across a range of different product categories, such as stationery, consumables, electricity, natural gas, telecommunications, insurance, food vouchers, soup kitchens and facility management.
"We are very honored to be playing a key role in redefining the procurement model for Anffas, to enable greater efficiency in the management of purchasing processes, allowing the association and the bodies and services connected to it to optimize the use of the resources at its disposal and improve the level of service provided," commented Ludovica Lardera, CEO of IFABER. "Our new partnership with the association is an important step in the growth of IFABER and specifically, providing this service for a non-profit organization represents an important change for us, as it frees up resources to be reinvested in services for the community. "
The launch of this partnership with Anffas confirms IFABER's ability to ensure full economic sustainability through efficient purchasing management, consolidating our position as a reliable partner for the creation of added value for non-profit organizations of this type, declared Luca Bondini, Head of Markets for IFABER. Confirming the importance of this new partnership, IFABER attended the Anffas National Convention held in Rome on May 23 to 24. The event was an opportunity to introduce IFABER's role as a partner in the process of identifying new opportunities for evolution in the purchasing division with all the Anffas-affiliated bodies present and to emphasize the added value that these organizations can bring to the supply management process.
