In light of the numerous and interesting projects that have been submitted for entry into the professional competition dedicated to the world of purchasing, the deadline for submissions has now been extended until midnight on May 8 2016.
The host of innovative proposals entered highlight the increasingly strategic role played by the purchasing division within companies, emphasizing the central contribution of procurement in supporting business growth and competitiveness.
The event devoted to the award is set to be held on May 19 in Milan and will see a jury of industry professionals awarding the most ground-breaking ideas across four categories - namely, the contribution made by purchasing departments in terms of best practices in negotiations, sustainability, team-based purchasing processes and innovation. IFABER is set to support the category dedicated to team-based purchasing processes.
