IFABER, a key player in the procurement and supply chain market, has taken part in the Chief Procurement Officer Forum 2015 as sponsor.
This annual international business event, dedicated to heads of purchasing strategy in both Italian and multinational companies, saw the presentation of the results of the research project entitled "What's up on Procurement 2015", launched in partnership with Bain & Company Italy with a view to outlining the challenges and innovations that await this constantly expanding and evolving market in the future.
The event represented an ideal occasion for discussion with experts and professionals from the purchasing sector for IFABER, particularly in light of the company's dedication to promoting digital evolution within procurement, with a view to presenting itself as a key partner for private, public and utilities companies, promoting competitiveness through optimal supply chain management.
Courtesy of the contribution of Stefano Ziliani, Group Procurement Director for Ariston Thermo, the Forum also provided an opportunity to examine the success of Ariston Thermo in further depth. The company, which serves as an example of Made in Italy excellence is now in a position to manage and control its entire supplier base - which spans 12 countries - along with the resources it uses through a single platform in an efficient and cost-effective manner, thanks to the company's work with IFABER. The best practices demonstrated by Ariston Thermo demonstrate the growing centrality of procurement in supporting company growth and evolution, in line with the key findings of the research conducted by Bain & Company Italy and presented at the event.
